How much is this going to cost?

The initial consultation is free of charge. The cost will, of course, be based upon the nature of the case and how much time counsel will need to prepare for trial and attend court. This will require review of disclosure provided by the Crown first, in order to make a meaningful determination of the time necessary for trial preparation and actual trial date(s), as the case mandates.

I assure you that I will always fix my fee in advance so that you know exactly how much it will cost. I will provide you with my hourly fee also, so that you can decide which option works best for your particular needs. When we meet I will tell you exactly how much that is and how much you can expect to pay by way of an initial retainer following initial advice. 

As most criminal trials can take up to a year before trial, FG Law Office provides clients with the option to enter into a payment schedule such that the retainer can be paid over time. 

FG Law Office accepts Legal Aid certificates. If you are deemed ineligible for legal aid the firm will endeavour to formulate an arrangement that aligns with your current financial situation.
